Photoshop Assignment

                                                                        Original

Used the selecting tool to clone the splatter of paint and then liquified it and then went to filter and went to artisitic and clicked on the Dry brush and slelected water color which gives the picture a crispy vibrant look.

I selected the road and my feet and made it black and white and left the sky with color which the bright blue color brings out the picture a bit more. I also used exposure or color balance to give a more vibrant look.

I used the clone stamp to edit out the parking pole and the garbage on the side of the picture so it wouldn't distract or take away from the picture. The wooden fence posts also add the effect of leading the eye.

Using the clone stamp I went over the puddle with the grass. Also more further into the picture there is a truck which I edited over using the clone stamp too. Lastly I fixed the brightness/contrast and the levels to bring out the color of the nature in the picture.

This picture was created with many different brushes that were used in Photoshop, such as a smoke, paint and a splat brush. The different colored brushes layerd over top of each other create a interesting abstract kind of effect and draw your eye to the picture because of the many soft but vibrant colors.

Water and Light

This is my favoutite water photo, I love how the water is flying upward and into the camera a bit. The angle also adds more of an effect to it. Fixed the exposure and brightness/cpntrast of the picture.

I love the way this photo turned out, the colors in the blurry background I find draw your eye into the main focus, the water splashing. Edited the brightness/contrast and adjusted the levels.

I like how the splash of this picture turned out and the way it is splashing to/out the side. The splash itself looks really cool , it almost looks like icicles or crystals. Edited the exposure, brightness/contrast and fixed the levels of the picture. (Brought out the main focus more)

I like how the light in the background is shining through the bowl/water. Although the splash is not big it has a cool effect to it. The brightness/contrast, exposure and levels were adjusted.

This picture kind of has a ripple/wave swishing effect to it and the water in the bowl from the pebble is creating a bubble/ swirling effect which looks unique. The brightness/contrast and levels were fixed.

Zoo Photo's

This picture turned out really well. I was able to get the monkey eating a piece of fruit while kind of looking at me. I like how it's close up of the monkey instead of having all the objects (trees and ropes) in the background which would distract the main part of the picture. Plus the monkey eating the fruit is somewhat humorous and cute.

I was able to capture this picture with the lynx looking at me. I like the rocks in the background and find that it gives it a nice overall finish to the picture. It doesn't make it look to busy and adds an environment to the picture but keeps it's main focus on the animal.

This is picture is of a baby lion was sitting on a wooden playground and getting ready to jump which makes this photo an action shot. I also like the angle of which the picture was taken and how the face is not quite looking at the camera, but can still see its features.

This close up of a wolf is my favorite photo. I love how I was able to catch it staying still and get a really nice picture of it.  I find it effective of how it fills up the whole frame. I think the eyes of the wolf leads you into the picture. Although it's not the greatest angle, the eyes of the wolf grab your attention. The only thing is, the cage takes away from the picture but other than that it turned out great.

I like the side shot of the eagle, it adds intensity to the photo and the stance it is in adds to the picture. The tree doesn't take away from it which is effective.

River Adventures

This picture is of the Delta Bessborough/park area. I like the overall look of this picture because it includes some grass and bushes which draws your eye into the picture. It's not a close up of it which is what I like about it. It captures a good and unique distance of the ancient building at a simple but intriguing angle. I edited the exposure to make it look more bright.

This picture captures many aspects, for instance it reveals nature (bushes/trees, grass, river etc.) But also   includes buildings and bridges and a boat on the river which is effective since it has most of the aspects of what we are supposed to be taking pictures of.

This picture I find to be unique because the tree/branches frames the white dome which relates to the symmetry effect. It catches nature (grass/trees) and you can also see the bridge behind the trees.

This is my favourite picture. I love the rock structure that the girl is sitting on, it's not to busy but gives it a nice balance and creates a high height effect. I also like how the building of the Bessborough is in the background because it still captures one of the main points of this assignment which is buildings. Has many different points to look at but brings it all together. I used exposure, hue/saturation(?) to bring out the colors of the rock and the girl.

I love how this picture has several buildings in it not just one and how they are all blurry. It captures and gives more of the view of what it looks like from on the bridge. The only thing I could have done differently would be to maybe not have the sign in the picture, but if you overlook that I think it is a pretty decent picture of the buildings and also captures some of the river!
To edit it I changes the exposure to bring out the building and blurriness more.

Peace

This photo can display peace because taking a bath can be peaceful and relaxing. I also think the edited lighting adds more to the picture, it gives it a soft overall tone to give it a nice effect of peace.

This picture is of a Bible, pen and journal, it relates to peace because taking time to read your Bible and journal for me really brings peace and ease, it helps me to get things off of my mind and focus on God and myself. I also think this picture creates an optical allusion, the writing on the black side cover of the Bible when you focus on it, it looks like a city of sky scrapers with lights coming through the windows, it almost looks like a reflection which it isn't but it's a really cool illusion.

I love the way the camera captured the flame of the candle, the lighting is really bright but I think it draws your eye into the picture. I choose this picture to exhibit peace because the lighting of a candle in a dark room gives off a calming and peaceful atomosphere.

This is my favourtire picture, I love that the David'sTea tag from the tea infuser is more focused but you can still see the background of the tea which is crisp and clear. I also think the edited lighting (exposure) gives it a vibrant but soft look. Drinking tea or coffee can be peaceful and going out for it with someone and connecting is nice, peaceful and relaxaing.

Although this picture is simple, I think the lighting hitting the headphones is nice. For me listening to music really brings peace to me when I'm feeling down, it can be really relaxaing.
