Balance and Symmetry
This picture is the entrance of the school's front doors which takes you into the commons area. It applies to symmetry because the doors and windows of the entrance are exactly the same. Also the wall in between the doors cuts the outdoor pillars and the top of the wooden roof which the pillars are connected to. So it has a few a different effects of symmetry, one inside and one outside.
This picture I find is quite interesting because it can apply to both balance and symmetry but more so balance. The object which is a pair of high heel shoes can apply to symmetry because although the picture in taken from a different angle, they both are the exact same shoes. The shoes relate to balance because they have a low point and high point to them, meaning the heel of the shoe is the high point and the 'palm' of the foot is the low point which gives it a balance effect since it's high and low.
Although this picture is quite simple, it deals with symmetry because the loonies are the same. I also find this picture somewhat intriguing, because the left loonie has more light on it than the right one, which gives it a cool effect and makes it more interesting.
I like this picture because of the angle and lighting. I find that the angle of the picture adds more to the effect of symmetry since it's taken from a different angle, which draws your eye a bit more than just a centred picture would. This object which is a ukulele can relate to symmetry since the strings wrapped around two tuning pegs each have a string attached. Above the tuning pegs is another set of tuning pegs, which you can't see in the picture. The pair of strings both come down the flatboard of the ukulele which looks exactly the same.
This is my favourite picture out of all the others because of the set up of the three purity rings, and the overall way it turned out. The picture of the purity rings are not right in the centre of the picture which produces a captivating picture and can apply to the rule of thirds since it's cut off, but still maintains balance. This picture can relate to balance because the rings have different 'heights' to them. For example, the two bottom rings with writing on them are holding the intertwined ring producing a teeter totter effect to it. From the left, the ring is on the bottom and then on top of it is the intertwined ring and then on the right of that ring is another ring on the bottom which gives it all a good balance.

Framing

I think this photo is really cool because the white framing around my door really pops out because the walls on the side are pitch black which adds more to the effect of framing. Also I think the frame of my door frames my bedroom which leads you into it.

I really like this photo and think it's a unique idea because half of the girls eye is framed from her glasses but it's not just a picture of her eye as you can see, it's a picture of half of her whole face which gives a nice overall tone of framing.

This photo applies to framing because of the redness of the scrapbook is framing the writing in the middle. It has another effect of framing because of the blue outline on the front cover. I love this photo because of the color and lighting and this creates a beautiful picture of framing.

I love the overall way I edited this photo. I like how the golden framing around the purple label is more in focus and has more vibrancy than the flowers on the bottle which are a faded color. I also like that it fills the whole picture and that there is no 'other' background in the photo. It find that it gives it more of a framing effect.
Although the shirt is busy, this photo relates to framing because the white circle is framing the brand clothing 'Guess' and the other writing in the circle.

Lines
I like this picture because of the angle it was taken at and also the lighting of the picture, it looks very clear. Also it relates to the diagnol property of lines because of the garden fence.
I think this picture is really cool because it looks like the slats/shutters of the closet is a flight of of stairs which, I also think it creates an allusion and also leads your eye. This photo applies to the property of horizontal lines because of the row of slat/shutters. It's taken from a really intersting angle drawing your eye.
This picture presents diagnol lines because of the pattern and stictching of the shirt. The different colors of the diagnol lines of the shirt I think draws your eye to it and I think the button tops of the shirt and doesn't make it just a plain plaid shirt.
I really like the way the angle of this picture was taken, it's not just zoomed up on the lines of the shoes it has several points that is draws your eye to. This picture applies to lines because of the vertical lines on the back/heel of the shoe.
The weaved laundry basket applies to several properties of lines because the weaving of the laundry basket is mostly vertical, horizontal and somewhat diagnol. I think that the lighter brown vertical weaved lines on the basket draws your eye down to the right bottom corner of the picture.

Leading The Eye

In this picture of the door handle that you push, I find that it leads your eye to floor and the colored tiles along the floor. The lights reflecting off the floor lead your eyes down the hallway.

The row of lockers and the lighting of this picture lead your eye down the hallway which gets more blurred as you go along, leading your eyes to the doors.

I really like the overall way this picture turned out. The blurrieness of the books and the background and the clear crisp ledge of the bookshelve in the liabray adds to the effect of leading your eye.

Rule of Thirds
This picture applies to the rule of thirds because it's off center, which I did on purpose by cropping it.
This picture focuses on the rule of thirds because it has a close up of one of the trees and then in the background you can see two tress which leads your eyes.

I like this picture because I cropped out the snow and left more of the school in this picture and also because of the different color of the bushes which draws your eyes to different points of the picture.

This picture has several different points that draws your eyes to the tire swing. The picture of the tire swing is a bit off center which captures your eyes to different poins of the picture. This picure also leads your eye to the tire swing because of the plain snow background.
I find this picture unique because of the lighting from the sun and how the sun is a bit of center. I have more of the sky in the picture than the snow which creates a good balance of both the snow from a far distance and the sky.
